ASD at Home

ASD children and adolescents function much better at home than in their school and social environments.  This is because most parents have set up the home environment for their child to be successful.  This may include having a special room for the child where all the things they like are available to them.  These children also do not have to share their toys or interact with their peers at home and therefore are not subject to the same triggers and frustrations they experience at school.
